Sandeep Lamichhane’s remarkable cricket career was renowned when he became the first Nepal player to be selected for the Caribbean PremierLeague(CPL)Twenty20 tournament. The teenage leg-spinner had already made history when he became the first Nepal player in the Indian Premier League(IPL) playing for the Delhi Daredevils and the Melbourne Stars in the Big Bash League (BBL). Sandeep was signed up by the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots during the CPL auction in London for a fee of $5,000. The leg spinner's was on the wonderful form, despite his heroic efforts his team St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots had to bear the loss against Guyana Amazon Warriors by six wickets. Although the fact, Sandeep has been awarded with the title of the "Break Through Star". Sandeep played total of 5 games in CPL and was able toss 7 wickets with an average of 15.14 maintaining the economy of 6.23. The CPL T20 tournament 2018 was won the third time by the Trinbago Knight with a commanding eight-wicket victory over Guyana Amazon Warriors. Sandeep is meanwhile playing the Pakistan Super League(PSL) tournament from Lahore Qalandars and is nominated for the Best Foreign Talent in Big Bash League (BBL) where he is teamed with Melbourne Stars.
