Gyanmandu:

A sensational hat-trick, and yet another Champions League comeback, the roof of the Juventus Stadium blows off towards the Alps. Christiano Ronaldo became the man of the moment as he grabbed a hat trick against his favourite victims as Juventus stormed back from a two-goal first-leg deficit to beat Atletico Madrid 3-0(3-2 agg) in the return and reach the Champions League quarterfinals on Tuesday. Ronaldo made the breakthrough in the 27th minute of the game giving a goal. Ronaldo levelled the aggregate score at the 49th minute and blasted home the final goal with a penalty in the 86th minute. Despite Atletico's good defence and entering this game with five straight clean sheets, Juventus takes home the victory neutralising every Atletico's attack all night long.

Ronaldo is the Champions League's all-time top scorer, and he added to it Tuesday with a fine performance moving his record to 124 UCL goals. It was his eighth hat-trick in the Champions League, pulling him level with Barcelona's Lionel Messi. He converted most of his chances with incredible efficiency and wonderful timing.
