Manchester City cruise into Champions League Quarter Finals

Manchester City are through to the UEFA Champions League last eight after a stunning 7-0(10-2 agg) win against Schalke taking their biggest ever victory in Europe. This equals the biggest ever single-leg win in UEFA Champions League history. City have netted 26 goals in this season's UEFA Champions League, making them competition top scorers.

The goal by Sergio Aguero's penalty at the 35th minute, Manchester City takes on the lead. The second goal was also by Sergio himself for the 2nd time in the 38th minute, City leads with a double score. Leroy Sane gave a differentiating goal scoring at the 42nd minute, City leads with 3 goal in the first half. 

Schalke simply could not cope with the speed of City's attack during a second period. City playing ruthless against Schalke, Raheem Sterling gives a goal for City at the 56th minute. Bernardo Silva scored the fifth goal for the City in the 71 minutes, whereas Phil Foden contributed with the sixth goal just pass the seven minutes after Silva scored. City coming hot and fast, Gabriel Jesus scored the winning goal at the 84th minute.

The quarter-final, semi-final and final draws all take place on Friday 15 March.
