Job Positions

1. Province Manager: Manager PM(M) -1/26, Deputy Manager PM(DM)-2/26 and Assistant Manager PM(AM)-3/26 (Few) Candidates should have minimum experience of 12 years for Manager, 10 years for Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager in commercial bank. The candidate should have strong target-oriented mindset with a proven past track record of achieving target assigned by management. Candidate should be able to drive results of branches under relevant province in various banking business spectrums like Deposit, Loan, NPA Management, Profitability as well as other banking avenues. Candidate should be able to transform branches into high growth profit generating center. The candidate must be able to strategically lead and support branch teams to meet and exceed business target, effectively implement management decisions within the assigned province, execute and monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions in coordination with corporate office. The candidate should possess strong ethical leadership and professional integrity. Preference shall be given to candidates having prior experience as Province Manager and/or Regional Head.

2. Business Officer-Province: Assistant Manager PBO(AM)-1/26 and Senior Officer PBO (SO) -2/26 (Few) Candidates should have minimum experience of 10 years for Assistant Manager and 8 years for Senior Officer position in commercial bank. Candidate should be able to drive results of branches under relevant province in various banking business spectrums like Deposit, Loan, NPA Management, Profitability as well as other banking avenues. Candidate should be able to transform branches into high growth profit generating center. The position is responsible to act as a bridge between Province Manager and Branches under relevant province to support branch teams to meet and exceed business target, effectively implement management decisions within the assigned province, execute and monitor performance metrics and take corrective actions in coordination with corporate office. Preference shall be given to candidates having prior experience as Regional Head and/or Branch Manager.

3. Legal Department: Assistant Manager LEGAL(AM)-1/26 (1) Candidates should have minimum experience of 10 years for Assistant Manager position. Candidate should have expertise in writing, drafting, preparation of litigation suits, claim or petitions, writing replies/ letters to different courts & regulatory authorities along with the ability to represent the Bank in the court. Candidate must have advocate license. Preference shall be given to candidates having prior work experience in the legal department of banks and financial institutions and also having proven track record of pleading cases till final verdict of the court.

4. Branch Manager: Assistant Manager BM(AM)-1/26, Senior Officer BM(SO)-2/26, Officer BM(O)-3/26 and Junior Officer BM(JO) -4/26 (Few) Candidates should have minimum experience of 10 years for Assistant Manager, 8 years for Senior Officer, 7 years for Officer and 5 years for Junior Officer position in commercial bank. Candidates applying for the position of Branch Manager must have sound knowledge of Credit & Branch Operations. Preference shall be given to candidates having prior work experience as Branch Managers.

5. Relationship Officer: Officer RO(O)-1/26, Junior Officer RO(JO)-2/26 and Supervisor RO(Sup)-3/26 (Few) Candidates should have minimum experience of 7 years for Officer, 5 years for Junior Officer and 3 years for Supervisor position in commercial bank. Candidates applying for the position must have sound knowledge of Credit. Preference shall be given to candidates having prior work experience in Credit Department.

6. Digital Banking Unit
a. BPM Developer: Junior Officer BPM(JO)-1/26 and Supervisor BPM(SUP)-2/26 (Few)
Candidates should have minimum experience of 5 years for Junior Officer and 3 years for Supervisor position. Candidate must have experience in API development, UX flow, web & app-based technologies, development tools such as Python and ASP.NET, along with a basic understanding of Windows/Linux environments and databases (MSSQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Candidate should have clear understanding of system integration, testing and deployment processes. Preference shall be given to the candidate having knowledge in BPM.
b. Developer: Supervisor DEV(SUP)-3/26 and Assistant DEV(A)-4/26 (Few) Candidates should have minimum experience of 3 years for Supervisor and Assistant position with 1-2 years of work experience in software development and/or application support, with basic knowledge in API development and integration, preferably in banking or financial systems. The candidate should have familiarity with web and app-based technologies, working knowledge of Windows/Linux environments, and databases such as MSSQL, MySQL, and PostgreSQL. Preference shall be given to candidates having a good understanding of overall system architecture (Exposure to development tools such as ASP.NET, React, Node.js similar frameworks will be an added advantage).

7. Information Technology Department
a. IT Core Banking System: Officer CBS(O)-1/26, Junior Officer CBS(JO)-2/26 and Supervisor CBS(SUP)-3/26 (Few)
Candidates should have minimum experience of 7 years for Officer, 5 years for Junior Officer and 3 years for Supervisor position. Candidate should have strong knowledge of Finacle Core Banking software and with good knowledge of Oracle database system thereby having skills to develop Finacle based reports using SQL & PL/SQL. Candidates should have good knowledge of customizations using Finacle's proprietary scripting language and integration framework provided by Finacle such as Connect24 and Finacle Integrator. Preference shall be given to candidates having good knowledge of AIX Unix/Linux based Operating Systems.
b. IT System Admin Unit: Supervisor ITSA(Sup)-4/26 (Few) Candidates should have minimum 3years of experience and strong knowledge of Linux, Unix and Windows Server Administration, virtualizations such as VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Storages System (DAS, SAN and NAS), Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, System Center Group Policies, configuration of Mail Server, Any Scripting Language and Task Automation, Servers & End Point Hardening, Patch Management and Proxy Server, Backup/restore Software, Operating own DC/ and DR Site with knowledge of Docker/Container/ Kubernetes
c. IT Support: Assistant ITS(A)-5/26 and Junior Assistant ITS(JA)-6/26 (Few) Candidates should have minimum experience of 3 years for Assistant and 1 year for Junior Assistant position in IT support with knowledge of Windows installation/administration, user rights management, installation and configuration of hardware, operating system and software. Prior experience of day-end in Finacle CBS will be an added advantage.

8. Management Trainee: MT-01/26 (Few) It is an entry level position and prior work experience is not required. Candidates must have MBA/MBM/MIM Degree in Banking/ Finance/ Marketing/ Economics/ Human Resource/Accounting from recognized university with minimum CGPA 3.3 out of 4 or first division. Successful candidates will undergo on the job training in overall banking procedure and operations. Upon successful completion of the training, candidate shall be placed at head office/ branches of the Bank at Supervisor position.

9. Trainee Assistant: TA-01/26 (Few) It is an entry level position and prior work experience is not required. Candidates must have minimum of Bachelor's Degree preferably in Management from a recognized university. The eligible candidates meeting the minimum qualification shall be shortlisted for further selection process based on the following criteria.
Kathmandu Valley: Relatively lower age and minimum CGPA 3 out of 4 or First division in Bachelor's Degree.
Outside Kathmandu Valley: Relatively lower age and higher CGPA/Percentage in Bachelor's Degree. Candidates will be shortlisted on merit basis.

10. Trainee Assistant: (Legal & Share Department) - LD-01/26 (Few) It is an entry level position and prior work experience is not required. Candidates must have minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Law from recognized university.

Other Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidates applying for Manager must have 3 years' experience in one position below, Candidates applying for Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager/Senior Officer position must have 2 years' experience in one position below while for other positions, candidates must have 1-year experience in one position below the position applying for.

  • Candidates applying for Province Manager/Business Officer-Province/Branch Manager must have minimum of Master degree from recognized university and Candidates applying for Relationship Officer must have minimum of Bachelor degree from recognized university.

  • Candidates applying for Information Technology Department/Digital Banking Unit must have minimum of Bachelor Degree in Information Technology/Bachelor of Engineering in Computer/Bachelor in Computer Application or similar degree from a recognized university.

  • Candidates applying for Legal Department must have minimum of Master degree in Law.

  • Age of candidates applying for Management Trainee and Trainee Assistant should not exceed 30 years as on May 09, 2026.

  • Candidates must be fluent in written and spoken English and Nepali.

  • Preference shall be given to the Candidates having experience in Banking in IT Department for IT related positions.
