Vacancy Announcement from Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited for Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited (NIFRA), a first and only infrastructure Development Bank in Nepal, promoted jointly by the Government of Nepal and other Financial institutions, hereby invites applications from Nepali candidates for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The CEO shall be responsible for the overall operations of the Bank, including building the core strategy and execution of the same. The CEO shall be responsible for interfacing with Domestic and International Stakeholders and working towards achieving the objective of NIFRA to come up as a nodal and dependable institution to finance infrastructure development in the country. The CEO shall report to the Board of Directors of NIFRA.

Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Possess Master Degree in Management/ Banking/ Finance/ Economics/ Statistics/ Commerce/ Accounts/ Business Administration/ Law 

• Infrastructure Financing/ Project Financing/ PPP related education shall be preferred

• Age not exceeding 60 years as on deadline of application

• Substantial proven experience and exposure on developing innovative products, initiatives and financial instruments for generating resources and investing in large infrastructure projects

• Substantial experience and exposure in infrastructure project identification, preparation, analysis, structuring, procurement and development large infrastructure projects 

• Experience working in infrastructure sectors like energy, transport, tourism and infrastructure investment promotion and development

• Possess at least 10 years' experience in domestic/ international institutions working in financial services, capital markets, project financing, infrastructure development & promotion, procurement, policies and regulations

• Be eligible to be appointed as CEO as per the prevailing laws and regulations of Nepal Rastra Bank
