Gyanmandu:
National Sports Council releases the date of the beginning of the 8th National Games of Nepal. We can feel the enthusiasm and the aroma of great sportsmanship since every national player is eager to hold a gold for themselves. Every player seems bright and pumped up for the National Games.
The National Games programs are going to be held in State No.5 initiating officially from the 5th day of Baishak. The Championship is to be inaugurated with the presence of Madam President Bidya Devi Bhandari. It has always been a ritual for the National games to be inaugurated by the hands of President since the day of Ganatantra. Whereas Prime Minister K.P Oli will have his presence on the terminal day of the National Games. Going a season back, the 7th National Game initiated on the Purwanchal Zone, was concluded by Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun.
The Nepalgunj Stadium will witness the initiation as well as the conclusion of the 8th National Games. Even though the championship starts about 9 days early, form the 27th of the Chitra we will have the official initiation of the National Games on the 5th of Baishak. Similarly, the National Games are to be conclude on the 11th of Baishak.
