Sanima Life Insurance intends to provide the much-needed financial security and saving opportunities to the people in every part of Nepal through highly innovative life insurance products delivered and serviced in a technology-driven environment. For achieving all its objectives in the short and long term and for realizing its vision of very soon emerging as the most preferred life insurance provider in Nepal the company is looking for an experienced and dynamic business leader to head the company as its CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER.
The CEO will be expected to draw business and resource plans for consistent growth and profitability and will formulate strategies to achieve such plans in an environment of high motivation, commitment, and trust.
The CEO will provide the necessary leadership to the Sanima Life team in the office as well as in the field for building a highly productive relationship with the employees, the policyholders, and the salespersons through effective communications and management practices. Ensuring adherence to the prevailing and relevant laws and the regulatory guidelines will be his/her personal responsibility. The candidate should be able to effectively anticipate and manage risk for protecting the interest of all the stakeholders in all circumstances.
The candidate must possess operational experience in a senior position, preferably in the life insurance business or in any comparable financial sector company, with a proven record of leading a team to sustainable high performance and enviable success. The company is willing to consider exceptional talent from outside the insurance industry also.
The candidate must possess professional experience and academic qualifications as prescribed in the Corporate Governance guidelines issued by the Beema Samiti. The compensation and privileges of the CEO to be offered by Sanima Life will be comparable with the prevailing standard in the industry.
