Requirements for Candidates

Candidates currently employed in the Nepal Government or Nepal Government-owned organizations need to obtain departmental approval from their respective organizations while submitting their applications. It is important to note that applications not meeting the required minimum educational qualifications, exceeding the age limit, failing to submit the examination fee within the prescribed period, or not adhering to any other prescribed guidelines will not be considered.

Disqualification Criteria

Candidates who have been dismissed from the service of the Government of Nepal or any organized body, found guilty by the court in a criminal charge involving moral turpitude, determined to be ineligible for a position in a bank or financial institution according to regulations and instructions issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, blacklisted for non-payment of loans from a bank or financial institution, mentally unstable, or those who provide false information in the application form will be disqualified. Required Minimum Educational Qualification and Experience

(a) Senior Branch Head:

  • Grade/Level: 9/Officer/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Economics, Law, Management, or Information Technology from a recognized university with first class and "A" from Nepal Rastra Bank.
  • Experience: Minimum 7 years of work experience in an officer-level position in a licensed bank or financial institution.

(b) Head of Branch:

  • Grade/Level: 8/Officer/Administration
  • Educational Qualification: First-class Master's degree in Economics, Law, Management, or Information Technology from a recognized university, with at least 4 years of work experience in an officer-level position in a licensed bank or financial institution of "A" category from Nepal Rastra Bank.

Online Form Filling Process

  • The application form for the vacancies can only be filled online.

  • During the online registration process, applicants are required to provide their details.
  • Upon successful registration, the applicant will receive a registration number through SMS on the mobile number provided during registration.
  • Using this registration number as the User ID/Password, applicants need to log in to the website and fill the online application form as instructed by the bank.
  • The online application form should be filled with all the specified details, including uploading a recent passport size photograph, specimen signature, certificate of Nepali citizenship, certificate of final educational qualification relevant to the applied post, transcript, character certificate, and equivalency certificate from Tribhuvan University if educational qualifications are obtained from countries other than Nepal.
  • For positions that require work experience and training, applicants need to scan and upload the necessary certificates and documents.
  • After submitting the application form, applicants will receive notifications via SMS on their registered mobile number and email address. These notifications will indicate the status of the form submission, exam fee payment, approval, or rejection of the filled form.

Examination Fee

  • Candidates applying for each advertisement are required to pay an examination fee.
  • For assistant-level positions (Level 4 and Level 5) on the open side, the fee is Rs. 800/-. In addition, for each group on the inclusive side and authorized level positions (Level 6, Level 7, Level 8, and Level 9), an additional fee of Rs. 400/- is applicable.
  • Candidates applying for one inclusive group only need to submit the prescribed fee for the open side.

Examination Fee Submission Process

(A) Basis of Application towards Inclusiveness

  • Candidates who wish to apply for positions in the inclusive group should submit the application by attaching specific documents at the time of application.
  • Certified copies of these documents must be brought during the interview if selected based on the written test results.
  • The last date for submitting these documents should be within 2080/03/07.
  • Requirements for different categories, such as tribal/tribes, Madhesi, Dalits, disabled persons, and those from backward areas, may vary. Relevant certificates and documents must be provided as per the prevailing law and official recommendations.

Age Limit of Candidates

  • The minimum age required for Tier 4 and Tier 5 posts is 18 years completed, and the maximum age should not exceed 35 years.
  • For Level 6, the minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 35 years.
  • Women and persons with disabilities have an upper age limit of 40 years for Level 6 positions.
  • For Level 8 and Level 9, the minimum age is 21 years, and the maximum age should not exceed 45 years.

  • The last date for submitting the Dobbar Dastur Tiri application is within 7 days from 2080/03/08 to 2080/03/14.
  • However, educational qualifications, enrollment certificates, council registration certificates, training, experience, service periods, and age limits obtained after the last date of application submission will not be accepted.
