Mahalaxmi Bikas Bank Ltd., one of the leading National Level Development Banks guided by the vision of "Most Trusted Bank" having 103 branches across the Nation is seeking applications from highly motivated, energetic and result-oriented experienced candidates to work at different locations including Central Office for the following positions:

1. Province Manager: Few

Position: Senior Manager / Manager / Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager / Senior Officer

Qualification: Master’s degree in Management from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience: The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in the banking sector with a minimum of 5 years of exposure in credit functions.

Job Profile:

  • The candidate is responsible for the overall administration and efficient management of the operation of all branches within the defined province including deposit, lending, operations, product sales, safety, and security.
  • The candidate shall be primarily responsible to lead all the branches effectively and efficiently to achieve the objectives set by the Bank.
  • The candidates must have a proven record of target achievement in terms of different business spectrums and the need to come up with the ability to accept highly challenging growth targets.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not less than 25 years for Managerial position as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Senior Officer as of vacancy deadline.

2. Branch Manager: Few

Location: Province 1 to 7 Branches

Position: Senior Officer / Officer / Junior Officer / Supervisor

Qualification: Master’s / Bachelor’s degree in Management from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience:   Candidate must have 3 - 5  years of experience in the banking sector with atleast 2 years of experience in the credit function of the Bank for Officer Level whereas minimum 2 years of experience in the banking sector for Supervisor with atleast 1-year experience in credit function of the Bank. 

Job Profile:

  • This position ensures the efficient daily operation of the branch, including product sales, customer service, lending, compliance, security, and safety.
  • The position is delegated with the authority and responsibility to undertake the operational activities of the assigned branches competently, determine ways, and contrive new methods and technology to improve the profitability and productivity of the branches.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Senior Officer / Officer and Junior Officer as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 35 years for supervisor as of vacancy deadline.

3. Deposit Relationship Manager: Few

Location: Province 1 to 7 Branches

Position: Officer / Junior Officer / Supervisor / Senior Assistant / Assistant

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience: 3 - 5 years of experience for Officer Level and minimum 2 years for Supervisor and minimum 1 year for Senior Assistant and Assistant. 

Job Profile:

For Province Office:

  • The candidate shall be responsible for managing, monitoring and achieving the budget assigned to branches for given province in terms of total deposit portfolio including priority banking deposits, number of savings accounts and transaction banking business.
  • Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors at regional level.

For Branches:

  • Candidates shall be responsible for managing and achieving the budget assigned in terms of total deposit portfolio including priority banking deposits, number of savings accounts and transaction banking business.
  • Arranging appointments with various organizations/institutions and high value clients for soliciting new deposits and brining new number of accounts.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Officer and Junior Officer as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 35 years for Supervisor / Senior Assistant and Assistant as of vacancy deadline.

4. Credit - Relationship Manager: Few

Location: Province 1 to 7 Branches

Position: Officer I Junior Officer I Supervisor / Senior Assistant / Assistant

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience: 3 -5 years of experience for Officer Level and minimum 2 years for Supervisor and minimum 1 year for Senior Assistant and Assistant. 

Job Profile

  • Candidates must have knowledge of credit and marketing, credit appraisal/procedures and compliance with the NRB Directives.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Officer and Junior Officer as of vacancy deadline. 
  • Age not exceeding 35 years for Supervisor / Senior Assistant and Assistant as of vacancy deadline. 

5. Central Credit Department: Few

Location: Head Office

Position: Manager Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager / Senior Officer / Officer / Junior Officer

Qualification: CA / Master’s degree in Management for Managerial Level and CA / Bachelor’s degree in Management for Officer Level from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience: Candidates must have minimum 5 years of exposure at credit function of Bank for Managerial Level whereas 3 - 5 years of experience at credit function for Officer Level.

Job Profile:

  • This position is responsible for marketing credit business, preparing loan applications, review loan request, evaluating clients’ financial information and evaluating creditworthiness and credit portfolio managment. 
  • Candidate must have good understanding of lending procedures and customer service experience.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not less than 25 years for Managerial position as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Officer position as of vacancy deadline. 

6. Central Operation Department: Few

Location: Head Office

Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager / Senior Officer

Qualification: CA / Master’s degree in Management for Managerial Level and CA / Bachelor’s degree in Management for Officer Level from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience: Candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience in banking sector with at least 3 years of exposure at operation department.

Job Profile:

  • Candidate must have good knowledge of NRB directives, ECC, connect IPS, reconciliation, CASBA, DEMAT, RTGS, corporate pay, claim settlement, Meroshare, remittance, deposit insurance, NRB reporting and cheque blacklisting
  • Should be responsible for overall management of operational related risk. 

Age Criteria:

  • Age not less than 25 years for Managerial position as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Senior Officer as of vacancy deadline. 

7. Compliance Department: Few

Location: Head Office

Position: Deputy Manager / Assistant Manager / Senior Officer

Qualification: CA / Master’s degree in Management for Managerial Level and CA / Bachelor’s degree in Management for Officer Level from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience: Candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience in banking sector with minimum 3 years exposure at compliance department.

Job Profile:

  • Proper implementation of established compliance policies, review internal bank policies to ensure they align with external banking regulations.
  • Candidate must have sound knowledge in the field of compliance, AML and CFT.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not less than 25 years for Managerial position as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Senior Officer as of vacancy deadline. 

8. Integrated Risk Department: Few

Location: Head Office

Position: Assistant Manager / Senior Officer / Officer / Junior Officer

Qualification: Master's degree in Management for Managerial level and CA / Bachelor’s degree in Management for Officer level from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience: Candidate must have minimum 5 years of experience in banking sector with minimum 3 year exposure at risk department for managerial level whereas 3 - 5 years of experience in banking sector with minimum 2 year exposure at Risk department for officer level. 

Job Profile:

  • The position is responsible for ensuring that the Bank maintains an adequate and effective Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program thus ensuring the Bank is in full compliance with all banking laws, rules, regulations, internal policies, procedures, processes and also should be able to develop framework to be adapted to mitigate such risk.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not less than 25 years for Managerial position as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Senior Officer / Officer and Junior Officer as of vacancy deadline.

9. Chartered Accountant: Few

Location: Head Office, Various Departments

Position: Senior Officer / Officer / Junior Officer

Qualification: Chartered Accountancy from ICAN or any other recognized body.

Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the banking sector for Senior Officer, a minimum 1 year for Officer and fresher’s can apply for Junior Officer.

Job Profile:

  • Candidates must have a thorough knowledge of NRB Directives, BAFIA, NFRS, IFRS, GAAP, Auditing Standards and other relevant rules and regulations to banking.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Senior Officer / Officer and Junior Officer as of vacancy deadline. 

10. MIS Officer: Few

Location: Head Office, Finance Department

Position: Officer / Junior Officer / Supervisor

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 from a recognized university.

 Experience:  Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience for Officer Level and 2 years for Assistant Level in related field.

Job Profile:

  • This position is responsible for developing and maintaining the organization's database.
  • Prepare MIS data, review the needs of the Bank and employees related to information management and distribute data to end users accordingly.
  • Report optimization, data validation, and accuracy with management-approved definition and amendment.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Officer and Junior Officer as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 35 years for Supervisor / Senior Assistant and Assistant as of vacancy deadline. 

11. Information Technology Department - Full Stack Developer: Few

Location: Head Office, Information Technology

Position: Officer / Junior Officer / Supervisor

Qualification:  Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering

Experience:  A minimum of 3 years of experience in a related field.

Job Profile:

  • Candidate must have full stack developer with competency in API development (SOAP, REST).
  • Fluency in Python and other OOPS languages, database (SQL, MYSQL) and web technologies, and Version Control systems using GIT.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not exceeding 40 years for officer and Junior Officer as of vacancy deadline. 
  • Age not exceeding 35 years for Supervisor / Senior Assistant and Assistant as of vacancy deadline. 

12. Information Technology Department - Network & Security: Few

Location: Head Office, Information Technology

Position: Junior Officer / Supervisor / Senior Assistant / Assistant

Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (In Network and Security is preferable)

Experience:  CCNA or equivalent certified or 3 years working experience in network and security domain, working experience in CCNA/CCNP/CEH will be highly recommended.

Job Profile:

  • Candidate must be competent in routing, switching & security, competent in configuring and troubleshooting cisco, sophos, fortinet and juniper router, switches, and firewall.
  • The position should be familiar and have implementation experience on SDN (Software Define Network). 

Age Criteria:

  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Junior Officer as of vacancy deadline. 
  • Age not exceeding 35 years for Supervisor / Senior Assistant and Assistant as of vacancy deadline. 

13. Executive Secretary  - 1

Location: Head Office

Position: Junior Officer / Supervisor

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 2nd division or CGPA 2.5 and above.

Experience: Candidate must have 3 - 5 years of experience in banking sector for officer level and minimum 2 years of experience in Assistant level in banking sector. 

Job Profile:

  • This Position is responsible for supporting Chief Executive Officer in handling day to day operations as well as analytical job in timely and professional manner
  • The candidate shall also be responsible to manage inward and outgoing correspondence of the CEO's office, schedule meetings and communicating effectively.

Age Criteria:

  • Age not exceeding 40 years for Officer level as of vacancy deadline.
  • Age not exceeding 35 years for Assistant level as of vacancy deadline.
