Nepal's victory over Oman in the ICC Asia Under-19s World Cup Qualifier

Nepal defeated Oman in the Asia Region under the ICC U-19 World Cup. In the game played at the Selangor Troy Club, Oman has been defeated by 150 runs. Oman winning the toss elected to field first. Oman, who bowled against Nepal's 230-run challenge, was able to score only 79 runs in the loss of all wickets in 44.1 overs. For Oman, only two players could touch the double digit score. Aman Preet Sirah and Jeel Tanna made 13 runs each. Oman's prominent Muzahir Raja, Azam Ali, Sanjay Rabindra & Jeel Tanna took 2-2 wickets.

Pawan Sarraf of Nepal took three wickets for Nepal against Oman. Similarly, Surya Tamang and Pratis GC took two wickets each. Nepal made a total of 229 runs in the loss of all wickets at 43.2 overs. Captain Rohit Kumar Poudel was in Nepal's innings. He scored 75 runs. Rohit, who faced 81 balls, struck five boundaries and two sixes. Likewise, Pratis GC has scored 41 runs while explosive batting. He hit four boundaries and two sixes in 23 balls. Similarly, Abhishek Basnet made 15 runs while Bhim Sarki made 39 runs.

Nepal's start could not be good. Opener Pawan Sarraf lost his wicket at 1.6 overs with 5 personal runs. Nepal lost Rath Gautam by the second wicket at 33 runs making 10 personal runs. After Abhishek and Sandeep Jorra's wicket fell, Nepal was under pressure. Captain Rohit was holding the series while Nepal lost it's wickets after wickets. After the partnership of Nepalese Captain with Bhim Sarki for 93 runs, Nepal's situation improvised. Captain Rohit Paudel has been given the man of the match.
